What Content Guidelines Does Skybeam Follow?

At Skybeam, we strive to maintain a high standard for advertising content on our platform. To ensure a positive experience for all viewers, we review all submitted creatives before they go live.

Our Content Review Process

Streaming TV Campaigns

  1. Campaign Submission: Upload your creative through the Skybeam platform

  2. Review: Our team evaluates your content within 24 hours. If we find your video doesn't comply with our content guidelines, we'll put the campaign on hold and provide guidance on necessary changes

Traditional TV Campaigns

  1. Campaign Submission: Upload your creative during campaign setup

  2. Creative Review: Our team reviews your ad to ensure it meets television advertising standards (content guidelines, audio levels, formatting) – typically taking 2-3 business days. If your video doesn't comply with our content guidelines, we will contact you with feedback.

Content Guidelines

To expedite the approval process, ensure your creative adheres to the following guidelines:

  • Legality: All content must comply with applicable laws and regulations.

  • Accuracy: Avoid deceptive or misleading claims.

  • Respect: Content should not discriminate or offend based on race, gender, religion, or other protected characteristics.

  • Appropriateness: Refrain from explicit sexual content, excessive violence, and depictions of firearms.

  • Originality: Ensure you have the rights to all content used in your creative.

  • Product Restrictions: Ads for regulated products like alcohol may require additional review.

  • Transparency: Mark sponsored ads with the disclaimer “Paid for by”.

If Your Creative is Not Approved

If your submission doesn't meet our guidelines, we'll provide specific feedback on the issues. You'll have the opportunity to revise and resubmit your creative.
