Skybeam now lets you plan and measure Traditional TV by demographic audiences, allowing specify age and gender parameters to define your primary target audience. This helps you plan campaigns more effectively and measure performance against the audience segments that matter most to your business.

How Demographic Selection Works

You can now specify your primary target audience by selecting demographic parameters directly in the campaign setup. Choose an age range and/or gender to define who you want to measure your campaign performance against.

Once you’ve selected your demographic audience, Campaign Forecast updates to reflect how that audience choice impacts estimated delivery and efficiency metrics, such as impressions and CPM.

This makes it easier to understand value of reaching different audience segments before you finalize your plan.

Reporting by Demographics

Because Traditional TV ads are delivered to all viewers, not only a selected demographic, you will continue to see household (HH) delivery and reporting. This update expands reporting capabilities by allowing you to view performance for your selected demographic audience alongside household metrics.

In the campaign report table, a new Demographics dimension breaks out performance by demographic segment.

Core campaign metrics — Impressions, Reach, and CPM are available for the selected audience (for example, Adults 25+ or Women 18-34), providing clearer insight into how your target audience is performing.

If no demographic audience is selected, reporting defaults to households.

What Demographic Targeting Doesn't Do

It's important to understand that demographic selection doesn't stop your ads from airing to viewers outside your chosen segments who are watching at the same time.

Instead, it informs your planning decisions and provides clear, demographic-specific reporting.

Things to Keep in Mind

  • Narrower demographic audiences may lead to higher CPMs

In short, demographic audiences in Skybeam help you plan smarter and understand performance more clearly - without overcomplicating delivery.
