Your campaign's budget is a crucial element in determining its reach and impact. Skybeam offers flexible budget options to suit various advertising needs. Here's how to set up your budget effectively:

Budget Types Skybeam provides two budget options:

  1. Daily Budget: Set a fixed amount to spend each day. Your campaign will run continuously until you pause it or it reaches its end date.

  2. Lifetime Budget: Allocate a total budget for the entire campaign duration. Skybeam will distribute this amount over the campaign's timeline.

Choosing Your Budget Amount

When setting your budget:

  • The minimum daily budget is $50. This ensures your campaign has sufficient resources to make an impact.

  • For lifetime budgets, consider your campaign duration to ensure an effective daily spend.

  • The budget you set is precisely what you'll spend on your campaign. Skybeam keeps it simple - no joining fees, no extra charges for additional seats. Your allocated budget is exactly what you will be charged.

Budget Distribution

When running multiple targeting groups within a campaign, you have the flexibility to allocate your budget strategically:

  • Overall Campaign Budget: This is the total amount you've set for your entire campaign.

  • Individual Targeting Group Budgets: You can assign specific amounts to each targeting group within your campaign.

Here's how they work together:

  • The sum of all targeting group budgets cannot exceed the overall campaign budget.

  • If you set individual budgets for targeting groups, Skybeam will respect these allocations.

  • Any unallocated budget from the overall campaign budget will be distributed automatically among your targeting groups based on performance.

This approach allows you to prioritize certain audience segments or test different creative variations while maintaining control over your total spend.

Best Practices

TV ads work for businesses of all sizes. While there's no perfect budget that fits everyone, we've got some handy tips to help you decide what's right for you.

  • Start with a budget that allows for meaningful data collection - typically $500-$1000 for a short, targeted campaign.

  • For broader reach or longer campaigns, consider budgets in the $2,000-$5,000 range per quarter.

  • Monitor your campaign performance and adjust your budget as needed. Skybeam allows for budget modifications after launch.

Remember, effective CTV advertising is about finding the right balance between your budget, targeting, and campaign duration. Use Skybeam's intuitive interface to experiment with different budget allocations and find what works best for your advertising goals.
